Asking people whether they like "AI" is not going to be a useful poll question soon, if it ever was.
They will be incredibly grateful for their personal AI that guides them through medical or legal or management issues. They will be anxious or excited about AI at their work, even though it currently isn't that good, depending on the culture of their workplace. They will feel fondly towards the AI chatbot they discuss issues or ideas with. They will hate the AI that pundits (and a number of AI leaders) say will take all jobs or change their way of life. They will be bemused by the AI that makes up fun video content for them. They will fear the AI that other people argue will lead to the end of the world. They will like the AI that lets them edit cute selfies.

Imagining explaining to the Founding Fathers that the president imposed tariffs without an act of Congress and then removed them at the request of the King of England
Absurd and inhuman violence is spreading ferociously through the sacred places of the Christian East, profaned by the blasphemy of war and the brutality of business, with no regard for people’s lives, which are considered at most collateral damage of self-interest. But no gain can be worth the life of the weakest, children, or families. No cause can justify the shedding of innocent blood.
That's it. That's the best picture from Saturday's No Kings protests in the USA.
The literal Statue of Liberty being detained by police. It doesn't get much more poetic than this.
