@CamGuthrie @OI_Mike13 @Squarest_Root Why should vehicles have to slow down "very slow" though rather than cruise at a consistent speed (ie. the posted speed limit). All these bumps do is put additional wear and tear on the vehicles, with people accelerating aggressively in between them. Not a fix to bad road design
@CamGuthrie The Starwood drive speed bumps are dangerous for cyclists - cars are dodging them and cutting straight through the bike lane. Not the solution for traffic calming, just creating more problems
@CamGuthrie when will @cityofguelph begin to build parking protected - or even better yet, physically separated bike lanes to make this city safer for cyclists.
@James_Highet @CamGuthrie No win win. Everyone I talked to this morning said ~5min delay both to and from work and are frustrated. 10 mins a day x 6 day work week is an hour!
@CamGuthrie the automatic lights are making us essential workers late for work!!! Please reconsider it is frustrating getting stopped when there are no pedestrians to be seen.
@CamGuthrie I think it could be executed better. For example, why the lights by John F. Ross on Eramosa? There is no school in place right now and they are going off way too often
