A tale of two Nations. Thousands of people streamed onto the National Mall for a daylong prayer rally Sunday, called upon by President Donald Trump and billed as "A rededication of our country as One Nation under God."

President Trump read a passage of Scripture in a video shown at the rally, quote 2 Chronicles which reads:

"If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways," Trump read, "then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land."

Thousands worshiped as many White House officials read scripture, while many well known worship singers such as Chris Tomlin took the stage. Many of America’s well known preachers took part, not just Sunday but over the entire weekend, praying, repenting asking God to bless America once again.

On Sunday May 17, here in Ottawa, Mark Carney posted that Canada needed to recommit itself to defending the 2SLGBTQIA+ community on the International Day Against Homophobia, Transphobia. Posting on X saying:

"Pride is a promise — that every Canadian can live safely, openly, and proudly as themselves.

On the International Day Against Homophobia, Transphobia, and Biphobia, we recommit ourselves to fight for the dignity, security, and equal rights of 2SLGBTQIA+ people in Canada and around the world."

May God bring Canada back to Psalm 72:8 once again.

My eldest son was very pro “trans” until a good friend of his began identifying as a woman (they were 19 at the time and in university) and one of the first things he did after he “came out” was to join the women’s netball team.

My son came home from uni one day and said “God mum you were right. I HATE to admit it but you were so right.” I had no idea what he was talking about as we’d butted heads on a few things since he began uni, so I asked him to clarify and he proceeded to tell me that his good friend was now an ex friend (he hasn’t spoken to him since, not even on social media) after he got suspended for indecently exposing himself to women in the women’s changing rooms prior to and after netball games and for sexually harassing his team mates in the changing rooms and at social gatherings, this included asking them very inappropriate, sexual questions.

His exact words were “He’s just a filthy pervert, isn’t he?”

Yes, he is, son. They all are, with the exception of a TINY number of very confused, gay men.

In just a few short hours he learned what autogynephilia means through a close friend’s predatory behaviour, and after that there was no going back to “trans women are women” and “trans men are men” for him. The penny well and truly dropped.

Thankfully no one in their entire social group stood by him so my son wasn’t ostracised, but he was fully prepared to move on and find new friends if necessary because he won’t tolerate abusive, predatory men.
