Beautiful, heartbreaking story from @JenSeniorNY. A must-read on the special type of personal hell that 9/11 wrought on families.
What Bobby McIlvaine Left Behind - The Atlantic https://t.co/GWnCcQrx5W
@ErikaChristakis@TheAtlantic Loved the article, but surprised at the lack of any mention of #Montessori in the discussion of an ideal model, which is all about independent learning, mixed-age cohorts, plenty of outside time, etc. @aslillard
Want to say again that it is insane that a margin of thousands in a few arbitrary geographic units was the difference between victory and defeat for a candidate who won the overall vote by millions (and counting).
@spencer_4hire@ErnieKocats@kairyssdal The next day his twin brother applies for the job. He strikes the bell so hard that he loses his balance, falls over the railing, and plummets to his death.
A passerby says, “Who is that?”
The priest says, “I don’t know, but he’s a dead ringer for his brother.”
@SomanChainani Hello! I am shamelessly contacting my tween niece’s favorite authors in hopes of getting her (Isabella) a surprise birthday wish. Any message I can share with her? Thanks!
@jk_rowling I am shamelessly contacting my Muggle niece’s favorite author in hopes of getting her (Isabella) a surprise b-day wish. She’s an avid reader and an HP devotee! Any message I can share with her? Sorry to bug, but it would make her day! Thanks!
@Trevornoah I am shamelessly contacting my tween niece’s favorite authors in hopes of getting her (Isabella) a surprise birthday wish. She just read Born A Crime and loved it. Any message I can share with her? Sorry to bug, but it would make her day! Thanks!
Journalists don’t sit down with senior officials to score political points. We do it in the service of asking tough questions, on behalf of our fellow citizens. And then sharing the answers—or lack thereof—with the world.
My take for @NYT: https://t.co/1L4zFtQKI0
This is what good #journalism sounds like. This is also what it sounds like when a government official lies and then throws a temper tantrum when challenged. Bravo, @NPRKelly.
1. A truck of TVs is hijacked.
2. Your son meets with the hijackers.
3. Your campaign manager shares route information with them.
4. You are recorded on video saying, "I love truck hijacking."
5. The TVs are in your house.
Happy No Collusion Day.
