Eating ugly frogs with Codex is insanely fast ๐.
6 months ago, I had a designer redesign the @pricewell app shell.
I've had a go at implementing the design within my existing framework but never found enough time or motivation to have a proper go at it.
Here's my workflow๐๐ป
Cut to today, codex is working as I type this skeet ๐ฅ
Workflow:
- @steipete agents md file as a base
- Scope minimal refactors for codex (move navigation, add exit button etc)
- Leave it to do it's thing, check and commit manually
Eating the ugliest frog was never so easy ๐ธ
Being a developer on a large codebase is a constant battle of explaining why a "little change" is actually a lot more complex than expected.
Some musings on tech debt that have been swimming in my mind...
over the next 12 months furnishing the rest of my house. As with software businesses, if you treat the customer well, they will come back. What a missed opportunity. Do better @JohnLewisRetail
But that's clearly not the case anymore. The customer service staff must be told not to offer refunds if at all possible which is disappointing to say the least. Imagine if my experience was different and they just refunded the ยฃ700. You can bet I'd be spending that with them
Startup idea ๐ก
Collab with DHL and other lockers to offer their unused space as storage.
Trying to store a bag in a European city is a nightmare even with a startups that offer space in a corner shop (often closed on a Sunday for example).
