'CLAYFACE' could open in more theaters than 'SUPERGIRL.'

Exhibitors have already booked 3,500+ theaters, making it one of the widest horror releases of the year, and that number could still rise.

On the other day, proving once again horror’s great momentum at US #BoxOffice, exhibitors have already over 3.500 theatres so far booked to screen #DCU’s first body horror #CLAYFACE. Not only one of the widest releases for horror in 2026, but also almost matching #SUPERGIRL, a traditional SUMMER blockbuster, which had 3.612 theatres in its opening weekend.
With 10 days yet to go & very likely more theatres joining after positive reactions, don’t be shocked if #Clayface ends up with a wider release - and maybe even higher opening, what would be an authentic SHOCKER - than SUPERGIRL.
