I’m not a lawyer. My understanding is no precedent for self-pardons exists. Also, of the legal scholars I have read from my layperson’s POV, it depends upon the definition of pardon. Most agree is something given from 1 person to another.

@115coffeepot I agree. To all educators and administrators, we must view our students as people first and students second while recognizing all of the complexity that comes with that perspective. Next, we must adjust our inquiry and expectations accordingly.
