UPDATE!

What a brilliant, mad, emotional, exhilarating, soul restoring couple of days! 😂❤️ Launched Dad's book Kickstarter on Thursday at 9am. 10% funded within the first hour. Fully Funded by 3pm, and selected to be on Kickstarter's "Projects We Love" list. Now as we end Day 2 it's at an incredible 235% Funded. 🤯. I've always believed in this project, but never in my wildest dreams could I have imagined that it would take off like this, so a huge thanks to everyone who has gotten involved so far. I know my Mum and Dad have been thrilled with all the lovely comments from people all over the world as well. Not ashamed to admit I've cried a few times myself since launch. Good tears of course though. It's been a pretty crappy 18 months, so the love has been quite overwhelming. ❤️

The mad thing is we're only just getting started! We haven't even started proper promotion yet 😂, The first few Review copies have just been sent out, and there's a couple of very, very cool additional things happening soon too. Most importantly of all, IT'S REAL! IT'S ALL ACTUALLY HAPPENING! This dusty, cherished manuscript that has been in my loft for decades is going to print and going to be sent out into the world...so cool. The kickstarter page is still allowed to be active for another 57 days, I can't wait to see how far we can take this! 🚀📚

MASSIVE NEWS! So today begins the first step on a journey that has taken nearly 40 years. Back in the late 80's my Dad wrote a book that due to unforeseen family circumstances had to be put on hold. In the 90’s it was given to me to read, I loved it and it’s basically been with me ever since. 18 months ago my Mum received some devastating medical news which has fundamentally changed her, my Dad’s and our family’s lives. Since then I've made it my mission to try and do something big to help them. So this past year I've dug out the old manuscript, given it a fresh coat of paint, enlisted the amazing @yoniweisberg for cover art and my sister @Lauren91_x to proof read and TODAY we are ready to launch my Dad's book: The Man Who Stole The World Cup. 🎉📚

It's a brilliant, fun, adventure, football/time travel story set in 1986 starring two kids from Liverpool, (Kenny Dalglish-mad Jo and Comic book loving Bluenose Andy), who get pulled into the conspiracy to steal the Jules Rimet World Cup Trophy in 1966.

Getting this book out in the world, and allowing my Dad the opportunity to follow his dream has been one of my biggest ambitions, so today is HUGE! To help make it a reality we've launched a Kickstarter page where you can pre-order Limited Edition, Hardback copies of the book.
