Emmy Winning director & showrunner. Drive to Survive (Netflix) The Man Who Played With Fire (Sky/HBO) Untold: Liverpool’s Miracle of Istanbul (Netflix)
I’ve just watched the documentary Liverpool's Miracle of Istanbul', and honestly, the most moving moment for me is when Steven Gerrard says that Rafa Benítez has been the best manager he has ever had. Watching that final live was unforgettable, and seeing the documentary today has brought back so many memories.
A new manager, departing striker, and a season in chaos ends in European glory. You’ve heard the story, but not like this.
UNTOLD UK: LIVERPOOL’S MIRACLE OF ISTANBUL premieres 19 May, featuring interviews from Steven Gerrard, Jamie Carragher, Rafael Benitez, Xabi Alonso and more.
Three football stories, zero odds respected. UNTOLD UK lands on Netflix next month, with weekly drops of films featuring:
▫️ Jamie Vardy (12 May)
▫️ Liverpool’s Miracle of Istanbul (19 May)
▫️ Vinnie Jones (26 May)
Jamie Vardy's story is part of a new Netflix UNTOLD documentary that airs from May 12. Along with the former Leicester striker, Rebekah Vardy, Nigel Pearson, Wes Morgan, Marc Albrighton, Andy King and John Morris all appear to look back on Leicester's 2015/16 Premier League title win.
On May 19, Liverpool's Miracle of Istanbul is released and includes interviews with Jamie Carragher, Steven Gerrard, Michael Owen, Rafa Benitez and Xabi Alonso.
And the story of Vinnie Jones is available from May 26. Along with Vinnie, John Fashanu, Dave Bassett, Bobby Gould, Sam Hammam and Piers Morgan help tell it.📺
“Peter Sullivan’s case should be a national wake-up call. It must lead to a root-and-branch reform of the CCRC and proper investment in its capacity.”
“Justice delayed is justice denied – and for Peter, justice was denied for 38 years too long.”

@jennjaypal@StreamOnMax If you want to write about it we would love that - We have been trying to spread the word in the States now it is on Max! It’s picked up lots of awards in Europe but is flying under the radar in the U.S at the moment
Has anyone else seen The Man Who Played With Fire on @StreamOnMax? It is INCREDIBLY fascinating. Although it's about the assassination of Swedish Prime Minister, Olof Palme, it touches on the CIA, American Politics, the Cold War, and Vietnam. I HIGHLY recommend it. https://t.co/irlMI4jJll
