@casualsdirect A pair of red Umbro football socks.

They were from the West Brom away kit of the 87/88 season

Had the full kit as a present for my 10th birthday!

Still wear them now to play over 40’s football in

@talkwba Thankfully they didn’t drop him after throwing him up in the air!

@sportbbcwm @SteveHermon 2 wins & 3 draws so at least another 9.

Impossible to see the optimism as recently as 4 weeks ago.

Now a bit more belief from players and fans.

[Matt Allen @MattyA1977]

@TheRainbowStand Two defenders going for the same header when free kick is crossed for the 4th goal. No communication & a really weak header back into a danger area rather than cleared to safety

[Matt Allen @MattyA1977]

@EyaWeGew Just read the article again. Truth be told, nothing has changed. The club have learnt nothing since CC’s departure. TM saying what we can all see & whilst trying to be diplomatic, he highlights some ingrained issues that remain 9 months since his departure.

[Matt Allen @MattyA1977]

@secondtierpod 3 away wins

@WBA Injuries & illness. That’s today’s excuse? Every team has them, they adapt.

Do the honourable thing. Admit you’re not up to the task.

Management is not for everyone. The experiment has failed.

Do everyone a favour & call it a day

@TheRainbowStand Given that we are repeatedly told that decisions are data led, we need better data or need to analyse it far deeper than we are.

These injured players have worked under different coaches so can’t even blame training/coaching techniques as a reason

[Matt Allen @MattyA1977]

@DeadlineDayLive Leave him alone. He’s doing a brilliant job

While it’s often a happy time, for some it can feel heavy, lonely and overwhelming.

📝 Ian Pearce took over as Head of Recruitment in 2018.

I’ve set up a Google Form where you can give your opinion on each permanent signing he has made.

📊 Results will be shared early next week.

@talkwba Enough is enough. Tactically we look shot. Zero movement when going forward. Defend deeper & deeper until it costs us. Subs don’t impact games positively. Plan A doesn’t work & there’s no plan B. It’s like we’ve hired a Temu version of Gareth Southgate

[Matt Allen @MattyA1977]

@EyaWeGew We played him as a lone striker, which is a tough ask. Not sure we played to his strengths there.

We were also skint & needed the money. Offer was too good to turn down at the time.

Would he be doing the same in our current team as he is for cov now? I don’t think he would

@secondtierpod Steve Bruce
Alan Pardew
Tony Pulis.
Alan Irvine
Bobby Gould

So many choices, sadly 🤦🏻‍♂️

@TheRainbowStand Top tier of the Alex Ferguson stand.

Place went absolutely mental

Fantastic from Brighton, this. A massively important message delivered very well.

[Matt Allen @MattyA1977]

@danwba_ Not sure I agree. Impact player off the bench at best. Very exciting when on loan but not even close to that form after permanent signing. Good business if it comes off imo.
