That is the highest rating @BBL home and away game in the @7Cricket/@FoxCricket era (BBL08 onwards) and would have also out-rated every game last season including the Final.

Last year, all 4 finals won bat first. Margins (runs) 39, 50, 54, 54.

But that bucked H&A season trend of 37% completed matches won bat first.

Season prior, 1/5 finals and 51% completed H&A won bat first.

All three games this weekend decided in the last over, two on the last ball.

Eight from nine games so far this season won by the chasing team, with six of those within the last two overs.

All the makings of a cracking season.

Largest audience for an opening game since BBL|11 and the for any home and away game since Boxing Day BBL|11.

Off the back of a huge Test series, cricket is dominating the airwaves.
