@hbrooks_coach His work at Brighton was excellent. Came in last season, to a side on its knees, looking relegated. He galvanised and turned things round. In the close season, ten incomings off the back of a World Cup, huge churn in the squad. I saw improvement today. Marmoush scores, we win.
@dipsMUFC Guessing that take will be influenced by having a crumbling, leaking shithole, which is "full of character" yourselves. We've had to move with the times. Obviously, that old school feel will be lost. There are little nods to the past, but soulless is a bit OTT.
@JUSTIN_AVFC_ I honestly don't know where this contrived rivalry with Villa has come from? It's weird... All the big 6 stuff too? Who cares, it's yours if you want it.
@LFC_Ranks@chrisw333@baggins78_ys@_harvey20 No point in arguing. Being disingenuous on purpose. It's not aimed at Spurs, but keeps banging on about a "music venue in London". It was a 25yr plan, net spend been minimal over the years, having to lose our best players time and again, lowest wage ratio, etc, etc....
@VillaViews_@currybags@pokeefe1 Agreed. One of the only Villa supporters who has seen the bigget picture stuff Spurs have undertaken against the financial doping of others...
@AVFCMatt1874 Are we still on this subject? Villa, a team which spent 3 out of the last 10 seasons in the Championship, finished top 4 in the Premier League twice in 30yrs and faced a winding up order 8yrs ago, due to piss poor financial management. 😂😂
@AdamJoseph Can we discuss letting Pogba go for free and resigning for nearly £100m, Antony for £80m+, Sancho, Maguire, Lukaku, Hojlund, Sesko for around £80m each. All the while paying huge wages whilst their stadium crumbles....
Spurs are so good for the Premier league.
Proof that if you put your money into infrastructure and commercial growth you can bridge the gap to compete financially with the financial juggernauts in the league.
No need to break the rules and cheat, just build the club properly
