I do not deny that it is a gamble but I'd much rather focus on strengthening the middle and attacking third of the team and roll the dice on our back line. I really do think Ben is going to have a chip on his shoulder and play well for us this season. And then we can sell at a higher price in the winter or next summer.

Ben White was our top signing in 21 for around $70mil. We brought in Odegaard, Ramsdale, Tomiyasu and Tavares. All told it was $170mil that summer. To sign Rogers and a maybe Bruno we're looking at probably $180mil or $200mil. We can't forget about figures because of last years outlay. I wish we could, but we can't.
