NEW: Ex-convict John Phillip Lally ran towards gunfire to save the life of a police officer who was shot in a shootout

The incident happened on Highway 59 in Texas during a gun fight between police & a carjacker.

Lally, who found himself in the middle of the shootout, noticed that an officer was injured and immediately jumped into action, dragging him away from the line of fire to safety.

Lally was able to record the entire incident on his phone (video below).

"As soon as I jump out of the car there's gunshots going off. Then I looked to my left and saw that cop get shot," he said.

The incident happened after police tried pulling over a suspect who stole a vehicle. After the suspect crashed, he got out and started shooting at police.

One of the shots hit Officer J. Gibson in the leg.

"That's when I grabbed that cop by his vest and dragged him all the way back to my work truck," Lally said.

The shootout ended with officers killing the 19-year old suspect.

Lally, who has a long criminal history, lives in Houston and is now a business owner and CEO of a T shirt company called Real Deal Wreckers.

NEW: Georgia lawmaker Felicia Franklin who was found passed out in the street after a wild night out, will be suing Clayton County for removing her from her position.

The man she punched should be suing her.

Franklin appears to think *she* is the victim even though she was caught on camera screaming at and assaulting people trying to help her.

In the lawsuit, Franklin reportedly calls the incident “traumatic and unfortunate” and once again claims she was “drugged with a ‘date r*pe’ drug.”

Police claim there is no evidence that Franklin was drugged but say she had “three home run drinks.”

#BREAKING: hundreds of Jewish Detroiters were prevented from attending today’s pro-Israel rally in DC when bus drivers staged a deliberate and malicious walkout.
Nearly 1,000 people flew from Detroit to DC on chartered flights and buses were hired to take them from Dulles Airport to the National Mall. However, several buses failed to show up — drivers had organized a “mass sick out” day upon learning they would be taking hundreds of Jewish Americans to the pro-Israel rally. Approximately 300 people were left stranded on the tarmac for 11 hours before being sent back home.
This is not the only report of chartered buses canceling on Jewish groups heading to the rally, which was attended by 290,000+ people, despite antisemites’ efforts to sabotage it.
