These are the theological questions my 3 year old daughter has asked me...

"The beauty of basketball is the beauty of God." From your mouth to God's ears.

Anecdotally, while I haven't been out there in a minute, around half of the ballers at the PLNU noonball run are from the School of Theology and Christian Ministry. @bkelle

Perhaps my favorite thing I've ever written #ballislife

A good morning for a read….@SheaSerrano

“I love America more than any other country in the world and, exactly for this reason, I insist on on the right to criticize her perpetually.” -James Baldwin

@sarah_lewan Yes and yes.

@nbcsandiego I feel like @JoelDaySD has been banging this drum for years.

I am convinced that Gnosticism is alive and well. It was never eliminated and is a contagion that has adapted, found a home in, and spread throughout evangelicalism.

I have loved #Nazarene twitter the last 72 hours…

….back to half baked theological ideas, quotes from books, soccer news, and basketball hot takes.

[Matt Wilson @Matty_Dubs]

@ruthann60165 Or they are making new Nazarene themed memes. We need more memes! Where is that resolution?

I love watching the newly elected G.S.s execute their first responsibilities: sit on stage and respond to all of the congratulations text messages they receive. #NazGA2023

@YaYaGracie @Haqqaton_TSD

[Matt Wilson @Matty_Dubs]

@Haqqaton_TSD Well geez @Haqqaton_TSD, then that would be the only thing you do! Once again, Congratulations!

[Matt Wilson @Matty_Dubs]

Congratulations to @Haqqaton_TSD! Grateful for his theological nuance, kingdom-centered ethics, and his insight of the present, fractured church and culture we live in. I know he will lead with Christ’s grace and truth.

Reflecting on #NazGA2023 this evening and I find myself thankful for @Shawna_SG, Christine and Albert Hung, @Haqqaton_TSD, and @BRWLTZ . As one who is seeking clarity in their future in this denomination, I am encouraged by their insight and resilience.

Working to lose a generation of young clergy. #NazGA2023

[Matt Wilson @Matty_Dubs]

@30NazGA @DrDanBoone In regards to young clergy and Dr. Boone's comments, they are both true and 8 years too late. Young clergy and congregants have either already left or are being forced out.
