We went from Kenny Atkinson saying the Cavs were up 2-1 analytically, to Stephon Castle saying the Spurs have decided to let the Knicks have a 3-1 lead 😂
@WaterJugPapi@SportsCenter I hear you, and I recognize that. I went back to look at it again, and I think Alvarado may have shouldered Wemby in the junk, which doesn't get sympathy from me for Wemby's other dirty plays, but I will say that there's a good chance it wasn't a flop. Either way, it was a foul.
@WaterJugPapi@SportsCenter Again, not saying it’s not a foul, it was, but the floor angle shows him flopping to the ground so it looks worse. I honestly don’t think he would’ve fallen if he actually tried to stay on his feet. That’s all I’m saying. But it was 100% a foul on Jose.
This may as well have been a common foul because unless Wemby shows up with a nuke for any future game of the series, he's not gonna have a flagrant called against him. But you just know the @NBA is patting themselves on the back for "making up for" that no-flagrant call from G3.
The way you know the officiating has been terrible is that you have people who normally wouldn't side with the Knicks, as well as media members who are normally anti-NY, telling you that the officiating has been terrible.
Plus, you have two fucking eyes.

Message from the @NBA:
The egregious and unnecessary foul by #Knicks Mitchell Robinson against Victor Wembanyama, aka Wemby Baby, is a black eye on the history of our sport. With that in mind, Mitchell Robinson will meet the firing squad at dawn via our unqualified referees.
The bullshit thing about that no-call flagrant that should've been called on Wemby is that if Mitch Rob did that exact same thing to Wemby he would've been called for a flagrant. And if it wasn't in-game it would've been called post-game. Clearly the NBA is protecting Wemby here.
Dolan was sooooo close…
He had generated positive PR (one of the few times in the two decades he’s wowed the team) by just keeping quiet and letting the Knicks success speak for itself.
But he just couldn’t leave well enough alone.
First, he invites Trump to MSG, which infuriates and inconveniences countless fans.
Now he gets in a pissing contest with the Mayor and police commissioner.
Injecting unnecessary drama, negativity and dissension into what had been an incredibly unifying communal experience
MSG requested a permit for a watch party for 500-999 fans. We approved that permit for 999 fans.
Mr. Dolan has now decided to cancel the watch party.
I know this is breaking hearts across our city.
But if there's one thing Knicks fans don't need permission for, it's showing up for our team wherever we may be — no matter the block or the borough.
Knicks in five.
