A long (but thorough) interview about public art, swimming, and Menhaden- er, local marine life in NYC.
oh Staten Island - the Ah-test-ry!
@RepMTG Although people are drawn to it, conspiracy is rare… esp in the US. Which camp would have encouraged a gunman? An inside job by way of DJT- who has used the drama to his advantage, makes sense - crazy is as crazy does.
@amandafarinacci I appreciated when she arrived at front door of the Staten Island Museum at Snug Harbor on morning…to see what we had created- despite having her arm/wrist in a sling- that’s more than the local BP had done at the time! She intelligent and the most receptive adult I had toured!

@TheatreRites @Guggenheim The film was evocative & dramatic. The artful qualities of the production, sound, and narrative took us to another world. But the seriousness of feeling lost, alone, and vulnerable was something we all had felt. We are so happy the glove found it’s mate!
@TheatreRites @Guggenheim The 3rd graders at PS 48 on Staten Island LOVED and had thoughtful responses to The Lost Glove. They explored puppetry with me, and we all learned how art can express different sides of ourselves.
@Faith_Salie My most memorable Cheeto memory was a first grade experiment. We had the janitor dig a hole in the earth, threw stuff in, then excavated it a month later. The metal and plastic and wood were dirty, but the Cheetos had disappeared!
@HeyNowJO I would love an effort to broaden inclusivity. Esp from our SI communities and youth that may not “feel safe” in Travis. Wouldn’t that send a message?
