GPT 6 Sol might be the most slept on release of the year.

It dropped the same day as Opus 5.5 and got completely buried. Everyone was talking about Anthropic. Meanwhile GPT 6 Sol is $2 in and $10 out. That is half the price of Opus 5.5 and a fifth of Astra.

And it's fast. I keep reaching for GPT 6 Sol for a lot of my day to day work now instead of GPT 6 Astra.

It just gets the task done without torching my usage.

Don't sleep on GPT 6 Sol.

Codex usage feels so much better with GPT-6 Sol.

- GPT 6 Sol Extra High → project lead + demanding tasks
- Luna → simpler tasks
- Astra → hardest problems, only when needed

So far, OpenAI seems to have nailed the usage efficiency. Now the real test is whether the quality holds up over longer, complex workflows.
