We have helped get 45 people (including young children and at least a dozen pets into hotel rooms for 3-5 days. We are also sending food funds along. We also provided propane and warming supplies to a few RV's.

PDX temperatures are at 20 degrees F° w/ a wind chill of 3°. SBC has been able to assist in securing 21 unhoused folx in temporary hotel shelter & safety from the deadly winter cold...yet there are too many more of our houseless neighbors needing refuge from the winter storm.
