In toxic cultures, you have to burn out to earn a break. Time off is how you recover.
In decent cultures, you take a break when you're low on gas. Time off is how you refuel.
In healthy cultures, you're expected to take regular breaks. Time off is encouraged to sustain energy.
Interested in a Post Doctoral Research opportunity, in Atmospheric Sciences, at the University of Manchester? Please apply here (Feb 9th deadline). DM me if you require more detail

Stunning levanter cloud over the Rock of Gibraltar.
When moist air is blown up and over the Rock, the air cools and condenses to form a cloud. This cap cloud can be sculpted by the shape of he Rock if conditions are just right.

Hi we were out in it too. Huge snow flakes, and slush on the ground, so was quite โwarmโ. The force required to separate ice spheres that come in contact increases close to 0 deg C. Although itโs not the only factor it can be important in generating really large snowflakes
