Hoping Autism Awareness Day fosters not just awareness, but also true acceptance and inclusion. Letโs work together to create a supportive, equitable society for all, neurotypical and neurodiverse alikeโmoving beyond understanding autism to actively embracing neurodiversity.
Thank you to our terrific SLPs who put together a fantastic AAC Awareness Day! It was wonderful to watch them teach students about Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) and the many ways people communicate! @WantaghSepta@WantaghSchools@MsMcCann_SLP@WantaghTeachers
23 yrs ago today Mr. Rogers last show aired. He had a simple but powerful message. Every child has worth and value. His approach was simple yet profoundly impactful, reminding us that recognizing and affirming the worth of every child can make a lasting difference in their lives. This sounds like so many teachers I know who make a lasting difference too!
