So inspiring to watch Team USA Soccer sing "Country Roads" with fans after their epic win last night! After losing their best striker, they turned adversity into a defining moment by scoring a second goal and delivering a shutout.

I was so proud of our country while watching the game. In these challenging and polarized times, it is a great reminder of the power of team sports to unify and inspire us, and a reminder of the resilience of our country and the power and hope of a group of people united in a common purpose. On this day, in 2015, the Supreme Court ruled in Obergefell v. Hodges, and guaranteed a constitutional right to same-sex marriage across America. The White House was lit to reflect this monumental step in the fight for equality.

Today we celebrate this landmark decision as we fight for full equality for our LGBTQ community.

Yesterday I was heartened, and frankly, surprised that Congress passed a bipartisan housing bill. This morning, I am frustrated, and not surprised at all that President Trump is refusing to sign a bill that may actually help regular people.

Housing is an issue I know we can find common ground on. Thank you to the members of Congress who put people over politics. And let's bring in new leaders to Washington to support your work. #NHpolitics
