The lid clamps were not on and no one touched it. A whole crock pot full of stew is also now in the garbage thanks to this (cardboard placed underneath in case lid glass fell apart during removal). WTH? 😑

@HamiltonBeach was cooking a stew low and slow in our crock pot today, thank god we didn't leave the house because the lid just exploded. The glass remained together because it was safety glass, but we now have shards of miniscule glass all over the kitchen counter and floor. 1/2
