Students add up chosen items from pictures to find total cost. @Jackson_Ave 3rd graders are adding multiple digits, regrouping and finding the total cost. Next step, subtract from your total amount, do you get any change? @MineolaUFSD

Ms. Martino and Mrs. Bodson’s classes often work together during our SEL lessons @Jackson_Ave @MineolaUFSD. Goal was to build the tallest cup tower without falling over. Lots of discussions and planning led to many towers up, down all around.

Measurement and snow seemed like the perfect DATA to create a LINE PLOT in grade 3, Mrs. Bodson’s class. Learners plotted their snow measurement in inches while we asked and answered questions about that DATA collection @Jackson_Ave @MineolaUFSD.
