Final thought:
The RBC Canadian Open should be a much more aggressive betting week than The Memorial.
Still start with approach and tee-to-green play, but don’t ignore putting and birdie-making.
This is a week to find guys who can create chances AND actually convert them.
Let’s go make some money!! 💰
RBC Canadian Open Preview 🇨🇦⛳️
Back to Canada for one of the best fan-atmosphere events on TOUR.
TPC Toronto at Osprey Valley gets the stage again, specifically the North Course, and this is the final tune-up before the U.S. Open.
This week I’m prioritizing approach play, par 4 scoring, good drives, and putting upside.

Outright card build:
1 elite/top-tier ball-striker if the price is fair
2 mid-range approach + scoring fits
1 Canadian narrative/course-fit play
2 longshots with putting + birdie upside
I’m more willing to chase scoring upside this week than I was at Memorial.
FRL angle:
I want players who can spike with irons and putting right away.
This isn’t a week where I’m only looking for grinders.
Give me aggressive scorers, good approach form, strong Thursday scoring history, and guys who can get to 64/65 if conditions are soft.
My biggest fade bucket:
- Bad iron players
- Wild drivers
- Guys who only survive through scrambling
- Weak putters with no birdie ceiling
- Short hitters who don’t compensate with elite accuracy/approach
- Players who don’t score well on par 4s
Need birdies this week.
