We thank active citizens like @HrhMaNtshingila who invited us for sit inregards with #Spazashopfund R500M, #NEF have outlined that they were only Allocated R100M from the R500M of which they had over 5000 Applicants and each Applicant received R100 000 which they disclosed on how it was distributed. In our hands as a movement we have a list of all the 1000 beneficiaries which we will scrutinize and do oversight in terms of fronting etc. Tax payers money will be accountant for.

@Eskom_SA On Thursday 11th July 2026 at 09:00 I had a Power outage at home, I immediately contacted Eskom through their automated customer care line and got a reference number 1195510364, I even followed up on their WhatsApp chat bot. On Monday I called again and was told my issue had been assigned to a technician. Till today I still don’t have electricity at home while everyone around has electricity. It’s Winter and ive got Small Kids. No one seems to care because to Eskom I’m just a number. It’s been a week.

We also inspected a spaza shop where we discovered a mortuary operating directly behind it. These two businesses cannot legally operate on the same premises.

Because the mortuary continued operating despite a previous prohibition order, we have served them with a notice and shut them down yet again. We have also served the spaza shop with a prohibition order where they sell food on the site, and the shop has been shut down as well.
