@randycrossFB Amen Randy! I loved your comment on the sidelines in the last minutes of garbage time - "They came to see an offense, and the wrong one showed up!"

@damienwoody good for you for sticking up for Brock Purdy! This hating on Purdy is ludicrous! Purdy averaged 9.6 yards a throw this year - the most since Kurt Warner in 2000. If the 9ers defense holds up, I think Purdy beats Mahomes!
@danorlosky I thought you knew QB's Dan? Leaving off the top rated passer for the last season and a half, Brock Purdy, your top QB's left in the playoffs is crazy!! You don't know shit about QB's!
@ProFootballTalk Mike & Chris you two are crazy for discounting Purdy's MVP chances because of the other stars on the 49ers! Purdy has thrown the ball downfield better than any QB this season! Look it up!
@MLBNetwork@MadDogUnleashed Mad Dog, On todayโs turn back time, that was Dave Koslo of the Giants pitching to Yogi in the 1951 Series. And c'mon, Warren Spahn never pitched for the Brewers! He was with the boston/milwaukee Braves!
@Bruce_Jenkins1 As you pointed out in your recent piece, what John Fisher is doing trying to move the A's is a crime against humanity! The Bay Area has proven its a two team market when those teams contend. Fisher should be forced to SELL!

@extrabaggs Baggs, as you said you didn't cover him, but Robb Nenn was pretty damned automatic in his heyday and did it for years. If he didn't blow out his shoulder trying to win the WS in 2002, I think he's in the HOF. A little premature to compare Doval with those two icons.
@extrabaggs Baggs, you are so right! I wanted the Giants to get Soto badly, but so far he's been a bust in San Diego and Wade has blossomed into a great lead-off hitter and a pretty decent first baseman!

@BrownieAthletic Itโs definitely a down dauber day for any Giants fans that followed the Giants in 1985 to 1992. The Humm Baby along with Al Rosen turned years of frustration into joy in ONE year! RIP Roger "Humm Baby" Craig. ๐ข๐ฅฐ
@extrabaggs Yeah, missing Kruk & Kuip on the broadcasts too. That Milwaukee banana ๐ boogie is a dance I could get into in my younger days. Lol ๐!
Let's get the 4 game sweep tomorrow!

When are the Giants gonna learn to pitch around Muncy whether it's a righty or lefty facing him??? It's ridiculous how they continue to let him beat them!! And that was after Muncy's first HR!
@DDDGURU You are dead wrong on Brock Purdy! He has a good enough arm to get the ball deep and he's a lot more accurate, which is the most important aspect of a QB, than Trey Lance!
@MadDogUnleashed MadDog, I loved your turn back time today on High Heat! Read the chapter titled "Meeting F Robby" in my book "Falling in Love With Baseball" which I sent you a few years ago. Frank Robinson was a hero of mine and I saw him beat my Giants and A's many times!
@LorenzoNeal Lo, if the Niners were getting both lines pushed around, how do you explain the Eagles pathetic 269 yards and 5 of 15 on third down?? C'mon Lo, the Eagles had the ball for over 37 minutes! You're wrong!
@RattoIndy@DamonBruce Ray I've been watching football since 1959 in the Kezar Stadium days. 4 teams put up over 30 on the Birds "excellent" D. You're a fool if you don't know the 49ers would've boat raced the Eagles if Purdy doesnโt get KO'd, especially with how our D played!
@CSimmsQB@ProFootballTalk to continue, I believe fully that my 49ers were ready to beat Philly Sunday! U are absolutely correct, the NFL replay rules MUST be changed to prevent Philly's fraudulent TD! It infuriates me to see the 49ers were "dominated" without any discussion! BS!
