@Cweitz99 Exactly💯. Also 11 days break is no given "rusty" excuse as the Canes scored the 1st goal shortly after the beginning of 1st period😉 Habs shortly replied w 4 goals in a row & completed 1st game with smashing 6-2 final score. Series ain't over yet, still a very optimistic start🫡

@darmeleok69 @Cweitz99 Blah blah blah blah...🤷‍♂️frustration won't change the fact that the Habs played a much better 1st game than the Canes. Habs fairly won with a smashing score of 6-2. FYI Habs also previously beat the Canes twice, each time both played vs others during 2025-2026 regular season..🫡

Watch how he anticipates the puck coming up the wall and jumps in front of the Canes player instead of waiting for it which keeps the o-zone time alive.

@Cweitz99 During practice Brendan Gallagher collided with Kaiden Guhle by accident. It wasn't dirty. It wasn't dramatic.But Ghule's landing looked awkward enough to freeze the building for a second.😬 Luckily Guhle did get back up after the fall, which changed the tone right away. Pheeew!

@Cweitz99 Logically, Byram's dirty intentional jumping upward move with both skates leaving the ice, hitting Veleno's face with his raised elbow should be enough to quickly drawn the attention of the NHL disciplinary committee, even leading to Byram's expulsion from the playoffs series.🤷‍♂️

This rule focuses on hits where the head is the primary point of contact and the hitter could have avoided it. Byram's jumping upward move hitting voluntarily Veleno in the head w his raised elbow was purely intentional though avoidable🫡

We clearly see Byram jumping upward with both skates leaving the ice hitting Veleno in the face with his elbow. A clear charging infraction.
