The US’ regime change policy that toppled Saddam’s regime in #Iraq started on 03/19/‘03. #Iran mistaken US’ intentions & acted irrationally for 22 years till 02/28,/06. #Iran shld had known what had destroyed #Afganistan, #Iraq, #Libya, #Syria & #Venezuela could topple Tehran.
Gen. Hemedti of #Sudan’s #RSF is reading and responding well to international pressure. He is being well advised by his handlers/fixers. However, Gen. Burhan of #Sudan’s #SAF is being belligerent and intransigent to ending war in Sudan.
This picture is not of SSDese phenotype. It’s that of #Darfur or Western Sudan, not SSDese. Please, #UNICEF stop stamping the images of suffering non-SSDese people, as that of SSDese. This is unacceptable. It’s to change.
@UNICEF This image is not of SSDese phenotypical image. Phenotypically, this image is that of Darfur or Western Sudan, not SSDese physical image. Please, #UNICEF ceased using image of the suffering Sudanese as belonging to SSD.
In South Sudan, 2.1 million children under five and 1.1 million mothers are at risk of acute malnutrition by June 2026.
The high levels of hunger are driven by escalating conflict, widespread displacement, access constraints, economic crisis, climatic shocks, and the erosion of coping capacities.
Humanitarian access remains one of the most critical challenges. In many areas, insecurity, looting, poor roads, and flooding have isolated entire communities for months.
Urgent and sustained support is essential to save lives, protect livelihoods, and prevent the situation from deteriorating into a deeper humanitarian crisis.
The time to act is now, #ForEveryChild.

British Imam demands the english people submit to Allah before it is too late as Islam will soon take total control of the UK, Europe, and even America. We need to put a stop to Islam in America, NOW!
Reading a lot these days on #Afrocentricity by Prof. Molefi Asante of #TempleUni and political philosophy of Leo Strauss. Interesting political theorists to read and critically think about their scholarships. Next reading would be on the Frankfurt School & that of Heidegger’s!
No one knew whether Palestinian #Hamas would change #Mideast politics through its suicidal attacks on #Israel on Oct. 7, 2024. The domino theory is now at play in Mideast. #Hizbollah & #Syria under Pres. Assad are by-gone. Iran is on the brink of collapse. #Houthis are next.
One of the greatest lies in #SouthSudan is the notion that our country is made up of “64 tribes.” If we’ve 64 tribes, then let’s accept that we’ve more than 64. Lou is a section w/in Nuer. Oppositely, Fojulu is counted, as a tribe when it’s a section w/in Bari ethnic group.
The sky of the Middle East is raining with bombs in #Iran and #Israel. Cities and civilians are being destroyed for the former and killed for the latter. The world needs an immediate cessation of hostilities on both sides.
The bitterly contested financial bill in #Kenya can make President William Ruto a one-term president. People are hungry about this bill. The ordinary Kenyans have a very negative perception about it. The Kenyan elites got to rethink this bill. It looks ugly out there.
#ANC in #SouthAfrica shld understand that its voters this time voted w their heads, not hearts. Till ANC employs its cadres on meritocracy, then it wld continue losing to other parties, including the Democratic Alliance. This shld be a wake up call for ANC & its top echelons.
#Senegal should change its official from French to #Wolof, not #Arabic. Both #French & #Arabic are foreign languages. Let’s stop running from one slave master to another. We, Africans must decolonize our minds.
I wish someone could donate to me all the books written by P.M.Holt and Gabriel Warburg on #Sudan (North & South), Egypt & Mideast. R. Collin was an exceptional US scholar on #SouthSudan. My favorite N-S Sudanese scholars: Francis Deng; Bona Malual & Manzur Khalid.
@ssemtv Peter Adwok Nyaba should know that an organization isn’t what has to be Democratized. However, democratization is about changing the “social attitudes” of the members of the given society.
@ajakmayol@iamkipro@RailaOdinga@HassanOmarH That is what we referenced as an “opportunistic politics” that is tearing apart Africa. This is the politics where mediocre folks thrive using shenanigans to character assassinate in order to elbow out the brightest and nationalists from the political scene. Very sad reality!
