(A bit late since still quite some contributions to review/merge... and also busy using it 😅)
Thanks to everyone helping/contributing!
Today I also launched the FPGA Horizons Journal. Inspired by the Xilinx Xcell Journal.
This Journal contains multiple articles on FPGA and Board design across vendors.
Available quarterly, in print at events and digitally.
It is the narwhal's horn
Not that I live and breathe FPGA, but I just stood up for 8 hours, no preparation with a pen / white board and taught FPGA design to five people.
I really wish I recorded it as it was actually amazing.
What it is the most important trait of an engineer? It is not skill nor knowledge but determinism and perseverance.
You have to keep working away at issues which arise.
Are you an engineer who is daily hands on designing, creating, integrating, building? Far too many "Engineers" spend thier lives writing power points, in meetings, playing political games etc.
At the edge, there are several interesting applications which require machine learning, from image processing to anomaly detection. This week I am looking at how we can instantiate and test the MathWorks Deep Learning Processor unit in out FPGAs.

I get asked a lot how to get started with FPGAs, so this week we are going to right back to the beginning and take a look at how to get started with the ZUBoard and Vivado 2025.1

If you want to learn about FPGA for trading and HFT there is no one better than Bras. I have known him for years come to FPG Horizons and learn from the best.
