@FredThomasUK If you’d been around as long as I you would have seen a mid-term dip and protest voting in local elections time and time again. Reform does not have mainstream support, they’re just a noisy minority. This is the time to hold your nerve and support your elected leader.

@DementiaFriends Dementia is unpredictable and varies from person to person. It took me ages to understand that the way the person with dementia feels is simply how they feel. It’s so important to try to recognise the person’s worries and fears even if they are mistaken or illogical
@RBKC Unfortunately there continues to be no response from social services, it is a concern this is a reflection of a service ‘operating as normal’. The team have been under immense pressure due to the data breach and winter pressures, surely RBK&C should be looking at resourcing?

Since I wrote about dementia friendly radios last year we got a smart speaker which works very well due to voice control and access to the Internet. Users and their carers need coaching to get the most from it. Playlists benefit relaxation and links to memories #elders
