@johnsaponaro Last years team collapsed because they had a lack of major league caliber arms to get out. What would have “made sense” this off season was adding those arms to the roster. Not passing the blame on defense and playing 4 players out of position every night
@nickythegood@NjTank99 Mendoza does not make these decisions. His job is safe because he does not question the decisions that are made and relayed to him. It’s that simple
@Discover I spent 2 hours on the phone with your team. While they agreed the solution was simple company policy does not allow them to “solve” anything. If you guys want to talk…you can call me
@KFCBarstool I think most people thought they had players with talent but questioned if their ability to learn new positions, replace lost power, pitch with rotation and bullpen depth, and get along with each other was good enough to be a good team
@Ben_Yoel DS has done a remarkably poor job here. Touched upon by multiple members of the organization who have since left the organization. Major league players and coaches…who know a lot more about ball than anyone on this thread. I don’t understand this take at all
It’s a long season. A lot can change. But when you spend an off season tearing out the hearts of your fan base…you can’t start 7-14. Winning baseball games is one thing. Earning back the trust of your customer base is another #mets
2025 Mets were likely an ace & bullpen away from contention. Instead of admitting the short comings and addressing them we were sold on run prevention & chemistry. We now have 7 guys playing out of position every night who can neither score runs nor prevent them @EvanRobertsWFAN
@greulich_k2@Aportzline The “unhappy” comment was regarding players who “might” not make it back to their NHL teams for games being played on Wednesday. Nothing to do with the President. Believe it or not their full time employers just gave them 2 weeks off of work and want them to get back lol
