Ian Rapoport on the Ravens backing out of the Maxx Crosby trade
“The Ravens wanted this to work…They wanted it all to happen and when it seemed like it was falling apart they still tried to make it work. They just were not comfortable with the medical”
Ravens have reworked the contract of Lamar Jackson, as @AKinkhabwala also reported. Sources say the restructure with Jackson creates about $40 million in salary cap space for the 2026 season. It’s similar to what Patrick Mahomes and Josh Allen have done this offseason for their teams.
I have calmed down I hope we manage to get him back for cheaper. Depending on what the results of the physical were I still think 14 could be worth it.
Realistically we probably don’t stick around and sign Trey.
EDC has about ten minutes to explain before I crash out. What in the actual fuck is going on. We lose half our team to the giants and back out of the Maxx Crosby trade?
Yeah Steve should have fired his ass too.
ESPN sources: the Raiders agreed to trade five-time Pro-Bowl DE Maxx Crosby to the Baltimore Ravens in exchange for 2026 and 2027 first-round picks.
The trade cannot be processed until next week, but it is in place. And Crosby is expected to be a Raven with two 1s back to Vegas.
