@HoldyLinez I could understand saying it wasn’t a clear two in the initial call but the issue is he stopped the match. In OT specifically, it’s first to score, unless a wrestler is initiating a near fall/pin situation. Then they allow the position to play out. A cradle is both of those.

Take this from a guy that never wrestled until he put on mma gloves. Collegiate wrestling is the most entertaining sport to watch that there is. The athleticism shown at the ncaa tournament blows everything on earth away. The reason it doesn’t translate to mma is because they are penalized for stalling, stalling is half the goal in mma.

Max Livingston passes the guard in OT and gets the W in our first match of the night #CFFCBJJ14

First batch of matches are actually really fun too for #FURYPro9.

Looked like the Yair armlock attempt caused the Ortega shoulder dislocation. That’s a submission from Rodriguez in my book. Wow!

I recorded an upcoming podcast episode a couple of days ago and I am still blown away by the story one of the guests shared about how he worked his way on to the Penn State wrestling team.

“The worst wrestler to ever make the team.”
