@SaniOSRS I don’t understand half of these people’s responses. If you’re willing to learn the waves for inferno and Colo why do you need a simulator. I remember the days when people had to work for their shit and now they just cry cause they want things handed to them.
@Tenba_tsu@vSenji I’m Happy with the compensation I didn’t have a hundo mewtwo and I used my gold cap on eternatus. So I wasn’t against it I’m just siding with the people who are upset cause I can understand it. But yes because of NY it is fair comp. just bad on the company to do all this.
@Tenba_tsu@vSenji They were trying to recreate a scene they wanted. And it back fired on them they had no choice but to hand out 100% for all because of the backlash. This was all a mistake. Definitely not how the game should be.
@TontonBatteuse@Tenba_tsu@TontonBatteuse 100% IVs not to just give out 100% that should have never happened to begin with there shouldn’t have been compensation to begin with because now people feel entitled like they somehow deserved it.
@TontonBatteuse@Tenba_tsu@TontonBatteuse ya there it is say some stupid shit. “Use your brain cell for once” buddy if you had the game you’d give yourself all hundos cause you probably live in your mom’s basement. Being the first with mega mewtwo and have the NYC background was enough and a chance at
@Tenba_tsu@Tenba_tsu yup so that’s a good reason to do mewtwo just because “they aren’t going to do it regularly”. The point is it shouldn’t have happened in the first place. This is because of New York there wouldn’t be any drama in general or argument. The background mega m2 is good.
@BlueToed What an interesting comparison. It’s definitely not because scopely made a bad decision to give a free hundo in NYC and recieved backlash. Also definitely not because people did multiple mewtwo events to get their hundo after hundreds of paid raids. That everyone just gets one.
@Tenba_tsu@vSenji This is terrible logic. Yes play the game with others that’s part of the experience. Don’t back hand your players who have put the time in by handing out hundos. The NYC event should’ve just been a couple free megas with backgrounds. Never should have been a gaurenteed 100%
@saphiro95@kashatori When you gold cap it’s based on either things you can’t trade for or meta relevance. And certainly mewtwo fits meta relevance is the point.
@saphiro95@kashatori My wife is a nurse and she doesn’t have as much time and there’s a lot of people in that situation so to judge that doesn’t make much sense.
@saphiro95@kashatori@saphiro95 that’s assuming people have been playing since the beginning without taking breaks and going to all the events. Have a community in their area. Also have friendly people to meet up with to do trades. But yes. I don’t personally have an issue I needed the hundo but
@JollyNotNow It’s not even a matter of oh if you used a golden cap on a Mewtwo now you have 2 well I think most people would agree that they would have went another direction with their gold cap. I mean we do pay our real money for those. It’s not “free”
@JollyNotNow I actually made out on the free Mewtwo as I didn’t have a hundo yet. I just think a lot of people aren’t considering themselves in others positions ie. golden bottle cap, a person who did hundreds of Mewtwo raids to work towards / earn a perfect mewtwo.
@JollyNotNow Yes scopely made the right play giving people who didn’t get invited a hundo. But I don’t think this is the right direction for pogo to start doing things like this. It’s supposed to be an RNG game
@JollyNotNow I don’t know why people feel entitled to have a perfect mewtwo. It’s honestly scopelys fault for wanting to create a vibe by doing this hundo mewtwo NYC shit.
@sumrtimelovin Ok and to be clear on stat manipulation I mean special events where hundos are given out if it was boosted stats like minimum 12-12-12 that’s different because the hundo still means something
@sumrtimelovin From a consumer stand point it’s not a good investment for people to do hundreds of/thousands of raids to get something and it just get handed out. And if you think thousands is exaggerating Brandontan said it himself.
