Mix of straights, alts and parlays. Plenty of misses, but the bigger hits have made the difference.
JAYLEN WADDLE
Straight: O 50.5 receiving yards (-114 FD), playable to 57.5
Alts: 80+, 100+, ATD
Waddle’s had a tough year
But he’s been running into top-10 secondaries almost every week. The one time he got a soft matchup, against the Jags, he went for 8 catches, 138 yards and a TD.
Now he gets an Arizona secondary that’s 30th in pass EPA allowed, 30th in explosive pass rate allowed and 29th in air yards allowed.
I also think this is a great bounce-back spot for Denver after a horrible offensive night against Seattle last Thursday. Sean Payton is going to use this spot to get his offensive stars going.
NICO COLLINS
Straight: O 65.5 receiving yards (-120 Fanatics), playable to 69.5
Alts: 100+, 125+, ATD
The 4-target game last week was weird (still had 74 yards) I expect the volume to bounce back for Nico.
Now he gets a Giants defense ranked 22nd in pass EPA allowed and 20th in pass success rate allowed, giving up successful plays on 46.5% of opponent passes.
They’re also 30th in sack rate at just 3.8%, giving this struggling Houston OL a chance to keep Stroud clean.
Houston is 4th in explosive pass rate, and Stroud is 3rd in air yards per attempt. With Dell easing back in and Harrison on a route count, I expect the targets to concentrate right back on Nico.
Great spot for Nico with Houston carrying a 26.25 implied total.
JALEN COKER
Straight: O 64.5 receiving yards (-120 MGM)
Alts: 80+, 100+, ATD
Tampa’s run defense is elite, ranking 6th in both rush EPA and rush success rate allowed. Teams are attacking them through the air at the 4th-highest rate over expectation.
Now they get a Carolina offense that already wants to throw. They’re 3rd in PROE, 2nd in plays per game and 8th in pass EPA.
A pass-heavy offense against a pass funnel. Love the setup here.
GARRETT WILSON
Straight: O 61.5 receiving yards (-114 FD), playable to 67.5
Alts: 100+, 125+, ATD
Wilson has two 100-yard games in his last four and now gets a Miami defense that can’t stop anybody through the air.
Miami allows a +11.5 completion percentage over expectation, dead last in the NFL. They’re also 31st in pass EPA allowed, 31st in pass success rate allowed and dead last in sack rate at just 2.5%.
Opposing QBs complete everything, and Miami generates no pressure.
Geno is 7th in CPOE and feeds Wilson 8 targets a game as the unquestioned alpha.
This is the spot for another monster game.
MATTHEW GOLDEN
Straight: O 70.5 receiving yards (-120 Fanatics)
Alts: 100+, 125+, ATD
Golden has been a stud to start the year. In his last 4 games, he’s gone for 95, 100, 123 and 104 yards, with 13 targets last week.
Now he gets a Detroit defense that’s 32nd in EPA allowed, 30th in pass success rate, 26th in explosive pass rate allowed and allowing 71.0 plays per game (32nd), in the week’s highest total (53.5).
This has shootout written all over it. I don’t think Josh Jacobs comes in and dominates off his suspension, especially since this OL is still a bottom 3 unit in the league.
JLove has said in interviews they need to keep doing the same thing: stretching the field with Golden and Watson and putting pressure on this Detroit secondary.
