A great week for papers coming online this week! First up we have "Widespread Vascularization and Correlation of Glycosaminoglycan Accumulation to Tendon Pain in Human Plantar Fascia Tendinopathy" from @MaxRavnMerkel

🎓Master's project (min 9 mo) starting August 2024 with @grith_hojfeldt and me @ISMCopenhagen on spatial transcriptomics of human regenerating muscle.
No experience required, just an interest in muscles and cells🤩

Availing of our excellent microscopy facility #CFIM today with Stef Truijen, KU Leuven, to image biopsies from @grith_hojfeldt 's @UCPH_BRIDGE postdoc project (keeping her record of zero dropouts💪), our latest on human muscle regeneration @ISMCopenhagen

🏋️♂️ New study alert! Investigating the impact of delayed loading on Achilles tendon ruptures post-surgery. 🦵 Discover insights into functional, clinical, and structural outcomes in this randomized controlled trial.https://t.co/0Z5HwbLOyo #Rehabilitation@ISMCopenhagen@Cph_Rehab
New preprint from us - could myofibre splitting/branching during regeneration really just be ongoing fusion? We think so, based on several types of microscopy analysis of human muscle. Check it out 👇

@david_kochman @NicolasDenans Suspected it to be the mounting also, but not sure since not in all samples.
Only blocking is in 5% donkey serum mixed into both the primary and secondary antibody cocktail when incubating
@david_kochman @NicolasDenans They occur only using unconjugated primary antibodies visualised with 647 secondaries, and is not visible in other channels used in same staining. Have not tried secondary only no.
@david_kochman @NicolasDenans any ideas what causes these various sized speckles or blobs? only visible on the 647 channel and occurs across different primaries and different secondaries, and does occur on all samples but most
