@sonicgarbage @Vanguard_Group I ended up calling in as I was advised to do so. Finally was able to open an account that way after being on hold for a little over an hour.

Apparently @Vanguard_Group is having technical issues with their website when it comes to opening accounts.

And their callback line straight away asks for social security number and if not answered hangs up.

Are there any updates on the website issue?
