👟 Two years ago, Chisholm Trail Middle School introduced a triathlon as part of their PE class to provide students with a lifelong activity that fosters both teamwork and a sense of accomplishment. Whether they choose to compete as part of a team—dividing the swimming, biking, and running events—or take on the entire challenge individually, every student finds a way to push their limits!

🚲 Jamie Totte-Boyde, CST PE Teacher, shared "from its inception, this event has brought our school community together in ways we couldn’t have imagined." Teachers form their own teams and compete alongside students. Other students pour out of their classrooms to cheer, the school band provides an energizing soundtrack, and parents volunteer to keep everything running smoothly.

🏊 One moment that truly exemplifies the spirit of this event happened when Caden, CST students with with Spina Bifida and hydrocephalus completed the race entirely on his own! His mom shared they weren't sure if he would ever walk and to see his finish was inspiring. As he crossed the finish line, everyone formed a tunnel, linking arms to cheer him on!
