Making something creative can be one of the most miserable, depressing events of your entire life!
Young Frankenstein was not a surefire hit, in fact the first cut was terrible, and Mel Brooks was miserable, as was everyone else.
Here's what happened next.
Everyone over here talking about Batman and Wonder Woman but this really is shaping up to be the next film to shoot after Man of Tomorrow. I have an article coming soon on all the details I have on it
@OurMovieNews What if there are other recognizable characters besides them? Characters that could help get attention from the GA, if we are to believe this is a movie set on Salvation.
The influencers couldnt save the movie from reviews, so now theyre onto plan B. Blame the audience and not Gunn/Safran for delivering the bare minimum of a comic book movie. Coy Jandrau is one of the worst shills and is actually employed by DC.
Thinking out loud here....He's right. You're going to have losses in the broader plan.....BUT....this early in the game? Man of Tomorrow NEEDS to deliver. Bring out the big guns. Introduce Batman. Include Supergirl (yes, I said it) showing off even more of her powers. I think her humor is pretty dead on btw...it was the script that was the problem.
Didn't take me out, but just funny to notice
After years of headless Superman cameo nonsense, I do not mind and welcome this genuine attempt on their part
Corenswet's aura and charm make the lil things like this ultimately work fine 😅
I feel like DC Studios co heads have really been learning as they go along:
Gunn started arguing with fans but eventually learnt that only brings more harm.
He used to debunk every rumour & now seems to have learnt that kills any kind of discussion.
They announced projects but then backtracked when they didn’t have the right script for it.
They decided to have the 2nd film of the DCU to be a smaller character & now they’re seeing it flop.
Whilst they’ve had some wins, they also learnt many lessons. They’ve never been studio heads before so it’s all about learning. But they need to do it quick before it’s too late.
Gunn needs damage control and quickly.
It baffles me that DC and Marvel skipped Comic Con the last few times, that’s a direct line of contact with the core fans who arguably spend a lot of time online giving opinions.
DC needs to go to Comic Con, Gunn better have a teaser for Man Of Tomorrow which has to be fire!, Clayface needs to be awesome.
It’s not a disaster YET BUT best to get ahead of it. #Supergirl
DC Studios co-chairmen and co-CEOs James Gunn and Peter Safran have already met with Paramount Skydance chairman and CEO David Ellison amid the ongoing proposed merger between Warner Bros. Discovery and Paramount Skydance. https://t.co/nLC9rgZl9x
