ct extension started as a response to the frustrating experience of using X, things like For You being the default when switching accounts, adding "popular" option in "Following" and making it the default (it's just "for you" again).

I wanted to see posts from ppl I follow, chronologically, insane concept i know. I wanted to filter the feed by type, search posts i've already seen, take bookmarks that don't disappear, and ofc take notes too as suggested by @magicponzitoken

our browser extension @ctextension allows you to do all of that and much more, 100% of the code and data is stored locally, no server tracking your every scroll and mouse movement, no extra account needed, no API key, and ofc no subscription. everything can be exported and controlled by you (notes, frens graph, etc)

the browser webRTC comms is also a powerful feature we got, it enables p2p posting with no relay servers beyond establishing a connection, making it a great fallback method when the X is down.

yesterday we've also integrated ctSwaps, starting with @RobinhoodCrypto tokenized stocks and expanding the list, making it a 1 click UX from alpha to trade execution.

it's still pretty early but already very useful for filtering noise out and controlling your feed a lot more.

The market decided to stress-test @yieldbasis by having BTC crashing faster than anything I had in simulations. According to some reports - it's the biggest crypto crash in history in absolute terms.

So in result:
- @yieldbasis mechanics proved resilience beyond expectations;
- The initial choice of BTC was correct: it is less affected by these crypto crashes than anything;
- We might have volatility following the event - GOOD to have market becoming a bit more volatile before scaling up!
