Chris Cresswell of @theflatliners would like to clear something up: "I did not steal @Max_Kerman of @arkellsmusic's parlour-sized Martin acoustic guitar" https://t.co/CVZRa3UjcD
.@JamesTalarico: The reason poverty exists in the wealthiest country on Earth is not because we can't feed the poor. It's because we can't satisfy the rich.
Elon Musk is about to become the first trillionaire. He's about to make more money than every elementary school teacher in America combined. Do we really believe one man is worth more than every elementary school teacher?
Why do we have a trillionaire when there are kids without enough to eat, cancer patients going bankrupt, and veterans sleeping on the street?
I'm all for success, but this is not success. This is hoarding. What leads a person to accumulate more money than they could possibly spend in 100 lifetimes when there are people starving in this one?
What we can do is tax trillionaires out of existence and use that money to guarantee food, healthcare, and housing for every single American.

I made this short film about my upcoming book signing at Yorkdale Mall on Nov 25. Also, if you want a signed, personalized copy of try hard for Christmas, our friends at Type Bookstore are helping out! Order now at https://t.co/2a6S9FW2Zu
This is not a complaint at all, and it’s also factually wrong, but *in my mind* the following people get NYT/New Yorker profiles twice a year, for the past 10 years:
Patti Smith
Stephen Malkmus
Michael Stipe
Toni Morrison
Who else is on this list for you?
'We The Raptors' is an instant Bestseller!

Sorry for the humble-brag.....But I'm blown away by the support this book has already received.
I'm proud of this work & to see it on The Globe's & Toronto Star's national bestseller list (non-fiction) -- is mind boggling.
THANK U
The first song from our next record, WHAT GOOD? is out now. We humbly ask you to: stream it, share it, and sing it from the rooftops. We feel it from each and every single one of you. https://t.co/NXbCzQFMT8
A treat. Max here. Today we went back to the first garage I ever played music in. Neighbour’s garage. Invited some die hards. New song out Thursday called “What Good?”
