Indie developers should stop chasing AAA games. Not by copying them, and nor by trying to be their “counterculture” either.
Just make what you believe is right. And don’t harm others, that’s all.
@InsurgencyGame Agains skins for weapons nobody uses... I love this game, I wish it all the best, I would like to buy the skins. But I don't use these guns.
And ofc since less players buy that, you have less money for good servers.
Hit reg is so bad recent weeks...

I could understand if everyone on the "topside" needed protective full suits, but most skins have bare heads, and some are just fancy. There's no consistency, no coherent logic.
Designs like this kill any motivation to buy Deluxe, open battle passes, chase Twitch Drops, etc.
Unpopular opinion:
ARC Raiders' character design is just bad.
In the post-apocalyptic world we get retro-space vibes (wtf) but literally no military, practical or at least "prepared civilian" gear. Doesn't feel grounded or consistent at all.

Many games released or upcoming using Unreal Engine 5 have no performance issues (e.g., The Finals, Marvel Rivals, Clair Obscur, Fortnite, Arc Raider..).
All controversial feature on UE5 are optionals.
Bad performances is mostly the result of bad developpement practice rather than engine flaw (and epic is doing a ton of shit work to provide excellent optimisation/Documentation on many side).
I'm personally so sick and tired from game influencer cringe who share misinformed (or ragebait ?) trought for click on twitter.
If you really love video game, share fact about it.
