@daveweigel@firagawalkwthme Its saving grace is Pitt plays Achilles like he's Dennis Rodman or Terrell Owens & that cocky, spoiled athelete persona bounces of very amusingly against a bunch of Brit actors in togas going "welcome to ancient times..."
@lilbabygandhi I can assure you the last time the vast majority of Americans even thought about Canada was the last time the Blue Jay's played thier home team. I realize your entire identity is built aroubd hating rhe US, but give it a rest.
@godspeed_aflame They published good stuff (not just interviews) for years. I found some 60's issues that had interviews with Sinatra, Robert Graves, Malcolm X, William Sloane Coffin, Coldwater, Elmo Zumwalt, just all over the place.
@keithedwards A friend of my mother in law was calling her from across the state, heard her having difficulties & called 911 in our town immediately. Its not that cryptic.
@HonkIfUrHoary Its funny how that version just nails the 1st prerequisite of a good monster movie:(have a really good monster) & then just fumbles everything else so badly.
@TheTumboy Fraiser sets up jokes like Satchel Paige telling batters what's coming & still striking them out. Three minutes into an episode you know what the big joke's gonna be & its still really funny when it lands.
Death of Robin Hood is really trying to be a Robert Eggers movie, without quite getting there. Ponderous & "dark " I'd never realized how much Jody Comer patterns her style after Tilda Swinton until seeing her in this. #Thedeathofrobinhood
