Historical $XRP bear markets typically last 400-790 days with 85-96% drops. In 2026, we've only corrected for about 350 days, and are down just 71% from the July 2025 ATH.

The duration and % depth of these bears are diminishing over time, therefore the territory for marking a historical bottom between now and EOY is fast approaching. These prices are where we need to start paying attention to the fact that although the chances of an immediate expansion might be low, a cycle bottom could genuinely be on the horizon.

Overall on the macro, this analysis signals potential room for further downside in the coming months to form the cycle low, which will lead to the likelihood of a typical accumulation phase before a major repricing toward FIB extension targets of $8/$13/$27 in the coming years.

The 2014 bear market has been left as an exception in this fractal as the duration of the correction to mark the actual cycle low in 2014 only lasted 210 or so days within a 96% drop, yet initially took over 1,200 days (4 years) to breakout beyond the prior Nov 2013 high with a large wick low in late 2017 before eventually pressing on to the Jan 2018 highs.

When it comes to these kind of price and time analysis based outlooks, both breakdowns are unlikely to align with the majority's views and are a genuine shot in the dark. To place a finger on a full cycle prediction that sits years away is already a genuine reason to not take my outlook as anything more than just an outlook or forward looking insight that could be completely wrong.
