Since the Startug and Starstation have six docking ports each, that will allow Starship crews to dock and prepare reused starships

I never claimed my proposal to be easier but it will speed up the process. Most importantly, settlers will have millions of tonnes in orbit and download on demand.

Not all Starships will land immediately, some will need to stay in orbit, because they have the task of the stevedores. Those on Mars will have direct communication and integrate all actions.

In my family business, we experienced cases were the order needed adjustment. Here, the settlers will have a say and the large fleet of cargos will give them that option.

It is clear the first landings will require cargo too, but as soon as the early settlers have enough to start building up, they won't have to wait 26 months for the next window, just download from Mars orbit.
