I’ve appreciated Mike for a long time. He gave me a letter of recommendation for law school, gave me an invite to his Governor’s Gala, and for a brief time I was tasked with keeping his son, John Mark, occupied and away from the cameras along with his handler, Lt. Col Dallas Woods (the boy is different). The Huckabees are kind people.

But yesterday, I said that Huckabee’s remark would go down as the single most catastrophic sentence in the history of U.S. diplomacy.

He said the quiet part out loud: Israel has a mandate to relocate or rule over 310 million indigenous people and occupy 400,000 square miles of the Mideast.

Called “Greater Israel” by the Israelis, it’s the real Zionist ambition. When the Jews speak of Zionism, they don’t mean Israel’s current boundaries, but all of it. And for 50 years, we have given assurances to our Mideast allies we don’t support the Israeli’s plan to invade and conquer them.

And today, we see the consequences of Huckabee’s Jew-Fetish Theology.

Since uttering that idiotic sentence, the U.S.-Israeli alliance has been denounced by Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Jordan, Bahrain, United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Kuwait, Oman, Lebanon, Palestine, Turkey, Indonesia, Pakistan, and by the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), the League of Arab States (LAS), and the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC).

And they should denounce it, because the claim was outrageous. It makes the U.S. into a liar. It makes our foreign policy captive to a bizarre 19th eschatology invented by an Irish cult. And the consequences couldn’t be greater.

The United States relies on working relationships with all of these nations. Egypt and Jordan are central to regional stability and our peace deals; Egypt controls access to the Suez Canal - which we must have remain open. Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Kuwait, Bahrain, and Oman are key energy producers and host our critical military bases across the region. Turkey is a NATO member and controls access to the Black Sea. Pakistan is a freaking nuclear power. Indonesia is the world’s largest Muslim-majority democracy and our partner in the Indo-Pacific. If the U.S. loses cooperation with them it will be catastrophic for our energy markets, military basing, counterterrorism, and global trade.

We are already a hairs breadth from losing U.S. dominance in the Mideast and China and Russia would take those nations into their pocket overnight. And this blooming jack-hat just declared that Israel has a divine right to their land. Have you got ANY IDEA how much the leaders of these nations personally sacrifice to work with the U.S.? Their citizens loathe Israel (for many good reasons) and working with the U.S. costs those national leaders politically.

Maintaining security partnerships, intelligence sharing, military base agreements, energy coordination, and diplomatic alignment with the U.S. exposes them to accusations of betrayal from their citizens and political rivals, clerics, and local media. Some of them are hanging on by a thread, with anti-U.S. political opponents waiting in the wings. A statement as dumb as Huckabee’s literally has the capacity to throw the entire Mideast into chaos as those leaders are replaced with extremists or Russian puppets.

Huckabee’s claim was not a gaffe. It was a tragic display of what happens when you place a Dispensational cult follower into a position of authority in a Mideast embassy. He needs recalled immediately and replaced with an ambassador who holds to historic Christian theology and has loyalty to U.S. interests rather than Israel’s bloodlust and bottomless greed.

Colin Powell admitted in an email in 2015 that Israel has over 200 nuclear weapons.

This means, by law, Israel should be held to International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) safeguards. Allowing inspections to ensure they are adhering to that standard.

The Symington Amendment (part of the Arms Export Control Act, 22 U.S.C. § 2799aa): prohibits U.S. economic and military assistance to any country suspected of having obtained nuclear capabilities without oversight from the IAEA.

Yet, Israel receives all of its economic and military aid from the U.S..

This means everyone in our government, including all politicians, that have supported sending our tax dollars to Israel is in violation of 22 U.S.C. § 2799aa, and should be prosecuted.

I am not old enough to have lived in this world, but I am old enough to have seen it.

Here's how it worked.

Everyone, man and woman alike, walked around with the baseline idea in their heads that, when they came of age, they were going to get married.

So pretty much everyone, from the age of 14 on up, was passively on the lookout for potential partners, until you settled on one you liked.

"Dating" wasn't a perennial state, or an activity for its own sake, it was a purposeful vetting process, and it lasted only until you were satisfied you had a good choice.

And it wasn't a hard choice to make. Because you couldn't throw a rock without hitting two suitable candidates.

Almost no one was obese, because food was made of food and not industrial chemicals. Almost no one was covered in unsightly tattoos or pink hair dye, either.

Almost everyone had compatible goals, because they were almost always the same... happy home, modest prosperity, reasonable amount of kids.

Almost everyone had compatible values, because culture hadn't been demolished.

Almost everyone was a good choice, because sex roles hadn't been demolished. "Husband" and "wife" were jobs with clearly defined responsibilities. Everyone knew the specific tasks, 1-2-3, to be a good one.

And those responsibilities were carefully designed, over many generations of trial and error, to be what made your partner actually like you.

Not a coincidence.

So choosing a wife or husband wasn't like sifting through sewage trying to find discarded coins. It was like choosing from a restaurant menu designed by a competent chef, and pretty much anything you order is going to be satisfying, so long as you avoid one or two options you don't personally like.

Life wasn't easy. The past had other problems, like polio and communists.

But there was a plan. And if you followed it, with a little luck, you'd be okay.

What happened?

Boomers and their crusade to tear down the entire past, resent to year zero, and reinvent culture. That's what happened.

Now we are all fat, sick, and ugly, humans aren't breeding, and we're constantly bickering over nuclear-grade political distrust, so it's safe to say the boomers dropped the ball on that one.

Why they thought this was a good idea is a topic for another day.

A lot of people won’t like to hear this but women have no place on an executive protection detail in a first line capacity. Whatever training or vetting they went through is irrelevant and every woman on a presidential detail represents a more qualified man that was passed over unless the USSS has become so unattractive that they simply don’t have enough strong, fit, males with desirable military or police experience applying for the jobs.
