@realfuzzylegend Expression can come in many forms. Introducing the audience to a fictional utopia because of the creation of a certain technology could inspire people to make it a reality especially if the story is about "defending" that utopia from the villains of society today.
@outlawpatriotva The same way I feel when these types walk around my nearby grocery store armed. Uncomfortable. I begin to consider dangers that are normally far from my mind and wonder if they really need that or they just like playing dress up.
@ppslayer_vt @mayfer The idea is that art has gone from crushing pigment for paint/chiseling stone to using programs that provide presets from colors, textures, filters, and patterns, yet using tech designed to match points in an image or waveform to create samples makes you unworthy as an artist.
@shadmbrooks "Better" is subjective in art. If we were to examine the styles for their purpose objectively then the Ghibli style would be "better" for animation. In time perhaps, it'll be easier to animate consistency using AI, but making something look realistic isn't the standard of better.
@ChancoCat Your problem shouldn't be with the tech then. Information was purposely kept from the people in Wall-E to keep them in the state they were in. Your real problem is the groups that control information and their motivation is greed for power, money, and resources.
@mythos_a@esjesjesj Your doubt would be correct. He has a daughter and that child is dead to him. She didn't turn out how he wanted and a special needs kid would be the same in his eyes.
@DiaryofaSickGrl More time passes, but I went to a neck specialist. She x-rayed me on the 1st visit without me asking. One of my muscles was so tight that it had straightened out my spine and put pressure on a nerve. All I needed was PT. (4/4)
@DiaryofaSickGrl 1 month later, I spend Thanksgiving in a chair. Standing makes me dizzy. I only sleep well on sedatives. The sedative and muscle relaxant are apparently addictive, so I don't want more pills, but that's all he wants to give me. He won't scan me. I stopped seeing him. (3/4)
