I'm hardly someone who defends all of Trump and his antics but when you watch this, you realize you're dealing with a special type of rot that has infected the Democratic Party. It goes way beyond any of the Trumpian excesses. And it didn't begin with the party's unflinching support of Platner; rather it has been brewing for years with an embrace of leftism and radicalism that surpasses anything we have seen, even during the 1960s. This is the party that gave us open borders; DEI (the dumb notion that poor white people in the Midwest oppress the world's poor); spending blowouts that they said don't cause inflation before it hit 9%; Joe Biden's "strong" mental agility and Kamala Harris as some working class striver who suddenly became a policy wonk. It was fed through a compliant media that has been pretty compliant on Platner until, like Biden crapping his pants on a debate stage, is exposed for his dark side that can't be ignored.

Homeowners Association in California demands residents remove their American Flag

The homeowners were given $100 fines and summoned to an HOA hearing for flying the American flag outside their homes

“Our flag has been displayed here on our exclusive use common area for at least 20 years. The issue comes down to where the flag is installed. The HOA contends this one is on common area property, but the homeowners, now facing a $100 fine, disagree”

I want to make something very clear, a HOA cannot restrict you from flying a standard American Flag out front, this is protected and they will lose

Federal and California law strongly protect this right

Federal Law (Freedom to Display the American Flag Act of 2005): HOAs cannot prohibit or restrict the display of the US flag on residential property where the owner has a separate ownership interest or exclusive use. They can impose reasonable time/place/manner rules (e.g., size, how it’s mounted, proper etiquette), but not an outright ban

California Law (Civil Code § 4705): Explicitly allows display of the US flag (fabric/cloth/paper) on separate property or exclusive-use common areas. HOAs cannot limit or ban it except for public health/safety reasons. Attorneys’ fees can be awarded to winning homeowners in disputes.
