New Hampshire has filed LSR0071, which will detransition all trans youth AND young adults, if it passes.
This is the third bill this week that targets trans ADULTS along with trans youth.
They will continue to raise the age until states ban transition entirely.
@ResistanceTrans Too early to say, it's already got six sponsors so its doing better than past years' attempts at similar shit, but we do have a stupid large legislator so we get a slightly higher number of bills popping up then dying
@epistemophagy I don't believe so, I didn't receive a notification of your move.
Although I don't know for sure how long that notification usually takes, though I assume it would not be that long
@VestigialEthics @EigenGender problem is that school uses the stuff the ai can do as a building block to things it can't. Same reason we make kids learn to do times tables without a calculator
@SpacedOutMatt@EigenGender @profoundlyyyy Have the students work in something that tracks edit history like google docs. Is more work for the teacher to have to scrub through edit history but is much harder to fake than just the final product
@EigenGender A few years back now but my HS had us write in google docs and teachers would check edit history. Even if you can fake the final essay I dont think you can yet fake the process.
Though college seemed to drop that, so anywhere not doing it yet will have to change practices
Also, it's worth remembering that, if things go really downhill, Twitter's creditors will have roughly three major assets to sell off:*
1 - The Twitter brand name
2 - A lot of high-end office furniture
3 - A ton of extremely revealing user data
* not listed in order of value.
@otherhappyplace@DawsteeEfski @bitterkarella As someone who did that job I've got mixed feelings on those rules; on one hand in the moment I'd certainly appreciate the cash but on the other it'd be a worse job if it was tip based instead of regular salary and that rule seems like the best way to stop it from being tip-based
I wonder if ancient trans priestesses had egg memes. Did they look at "guys" and go "oop 'he' seems a bit too into that shark effigy, better prepare a new serve of mare piss soon"
